If you think that one is bad...

Guess you haven't seen Solaris. It was probably the worst movie I have ever seen, or will ever see (let's hope). At the movies, no less. What a waste of good popcorn.

Saw "Signs" when it came out in the theaters, and yeah, it's not like anything you would expect to see Mel Gibson star in, very different for him.

The movie had the added bonus of occurring in Bucks County PA, a five minute drive from where I grew up. I recognized downtown Newtown PA in the "go to town scenes" and it brought back some good memories. Too bad they didn't go to "Tanner's" for ice cream, would have made it complete. Damn, if only it weren't so f-ing cold there in winter, might still be there.

Yeah, well, anyhoo, a muy good flick...

    Swing away....

Mom taught us to say something nice or say nothing at all. "Reign of Fire" had finally come to an end, and we sat in silence. Finally my husband said, "At least this is the free movie the rental place threw in. We didn't have to pay for it."
